What Is Your Symbol Of Strength?

Most of us have many symbols of strength and sometimes it’s just one thing. You know, that one thing that when you see it, hear it, or feel it, it just makes you feel like you can do anything.

For me, it’s a lot of different things. The song “Rockstar” for instance, by Nickelback. It’s like the Universe is asking me what I want, and although my answers are not necessarily the same as his, I still get the chance to raise my vibration and tell the Universe what that is.

Another is a necklace my daughter gave me to wear. It’s really hers, but you know how that goes when you have a teenage daughter. Your stuff becomes her stuff and once in a while she lets you borrow something of hers. When I wear the necklace, it reminds me of all the possibilities she has to make this world a better place. She also has some of my abilities and is developing quite nicely.

But I would have to say that my favorite symbol of strength would have to be TREES! I love trees! I always have. Trees withstand the test of time. They can withstand just about anything. The shear magnificence of it is totally inspiring to me. They grow strong and tall and they seem to never really age, which gives us a much longer time to enjoy them. We recognize them throughout our lives in many different ways. Like the one in our backyard that we used to climb, or the one in the middle of town that has always been there. How about the one that was right outside your window. See, TREES!

If you sit back and really look at a tree you can see why it would be a symbol of strength for anyone.

Let me break it down to you as I see them. The trunk is the main connection to the earth, much like we are all connected to the Universe. It gives us nourishment whether that be nutritional or spiritual. Then you have the branches, ah the many branches of all different lengths, symbolizing the many directions and different aspects of our own lives. Then you have the leaves. Beautifully shaped, and plenty of them. To me, this symbolizes all the wonderful people in my life and in the Universe. So you see, the leaves are connected to the branches, the branches are connected to the trunk and the trunk is connected to the earth.

In all, the tree symbolizes that we are all connected. No matter what side of the tree we are on, it doesn’t matter. We are all still connected.

So what is your symbol of strength? What do you look at, listen to, or even imagine that gives you that certain kick? Use it! Find out why it really makes you feel good and stay there for a few minutes a day. Raise your vibration, then let the Universe hear what you want.
