What Is Your Symbol Of Strength?
By Kandace
Most of us have many symbols of strength and sometimes it’s just one thing. You know, that one thing that when you see it, hear it, or feel it, it just makes you feel like you can do anything.
For me, it’s a lot of different things. The song “Rockstar” for instance, by Nickelback. It’s like the Universe is asking me what I want, and although my answers are not necessarily the same as his, I still get the chance to raise my vibration and tell the Universe what that is.
Another is a necklace my daughter gave me to wear. It’s really hers, but you know how that goes when you have a teenage daughter. Your stuff becomes her stuff and once in a while she lets you borrow something of hers. When I wear the necklace, it reminds me of all the possibilities she has to make this world a better place. She also has some of my abilities and is developing quite nicely.

But I would have to say that my favorite symbol of strength would have to be TREES! I love trees! I always have. Trees withstand the test of time. They can withstand just about anything. The shear magnificence of it is totally inspiring to me. They grow strong and tall and they seem to never really age, which gives us a much longer time to enjoy them. We recognize them throughout our lives in many different ways. Like the one in our backyard that we used to climb, or the one in the middle of town that has always been there. How about the one that was right outside your window. See, TREES!
If you sit back and really look at a tree you can see why it would be a symbol of strength for anyone.
Let me break it down to you as I see them. The trunk is the main connection to the earth, much like we are all connected to the Universe. It gives us nourishment whether that be nutritional or spiritual. Then you have the branches, ah the many branches of all different lengths, symbolizing the many directions and different aspects of our own lives. Then you have the leaves. Beautifully shaped, and plenty of them. To me, this symbolizes all the wonderful people in my life and in the Universe. So you see, the leaves are connected to the branches, the branches are connected to the trunk and the trunk is connected to the earth.
In all, the tree symbolizes that we are all connected. No matter what side of the tree we are on, it doesn’t matter. We are all still connected.
So what is your symbol of strength? What do you look at, listen to, or even imagine that gives you that certain kick? Use it! Find out why it really makes you feel good and stay there for a few minutes a day. Raise your vibration, then let the Universe hear what you want.
Until Next time….

My song is “Soak up the Sun” by Sheryl Crowe, always gets me singing and going.
My me the symbol would be bears. I think they are one of the strongest animals in the kingdom. I almost got one tattooed on me, might still yet.
I do also have the Chinese character of “strength” tattooed on my back

Thanks Kandace!
For me it is the Moon, she guides and protects me. I also love music (different songs for different outcomes). Dreams speak to me also. I have become pretty good at analyzing my own dreams.

I agree with the tree analogy. It seems that anywhere I live has to have trees nearby. If I was to look outside my window right now, we have a small green belt in front of the condo. Due to recent construction of our street, that was almost at risk. For the first time in my life I was ready to get a petition together to have that prevented! However, many older trees were uprooted across the street from us so that upset me. There’s something about them that makes me feel at peace and comforted. I fully understand Kandace’s posts about trees, the strength and the beauty.
