Yep, this thing has gotten my full attention as of late. I’ve NEVER been that winded after doing cardio, racing for the finish line going for a PB. I love it. Nice addition to my cardio cross training

This bike has become my favorite cardio machine and until I began using it a few months ago, I HATED bikes.

This Expresso cardio bike kicks ass.

I’m considering a new membership at Golds Gym, a new one that just got built 5 mins from me, and my primary reasons for getting/not getting are the Expresso bike and my other fav, the ArcTrainer. If they’ve got them, I’m pretty much signed up

  • no shit AG, me too.

I’ve learned so much about this bike in the past two weeks that I want to do a follow up review.

Brilliant machine – and it’s kicking my ass in a good way.

  • I think my gym finally networked the Expresso cardio bikes. I’m registering for an ID at Expresso Fitness and will be testing it out. btw, I found a great new 25 minute loop the other day. My best time was 25.03 and then I beat it by 1 whole second the 2nd time I did the loop.

It’ll be nice to log in and track my stats that way for PB’s

  • Swiss Ball Exercise Dumbbell Bench Press
@Jonathan – that said, the purpose of the stability ball is to create “instability” though. Making it stable defeats the purpose.

when the ball is “unstable”, our core then has to be engaged to make it a stable platform, and is why we train on the ball.

stability balls and bosu’s are difficult at first because our core is often not engaged when we train. I found that I had to lower all my weights when I began. My trainer pointed out that the actual exercise we do on the ball is secondary, where our prime objective is exactly to engage the core and make it work. How much weight we’re lifting for the press, the rolls, the squats or what have you is irrelevant

This sounds like a great machine – I’d love to get one for the home gym. The ability to ride against your ‘ghost’ sounds particularly good.

Will check it out.

Nice one. If you get a chance, a bit of video would be cool.

Love these bikes. I am also a fan of the Arc Trainer but curiosity got the best of me and now I am hooked on the Expresso bikes too. I love the competition not only with other riders but also with myself. Always looking to beat my best time!

Where are we now that the bikes have been around for a while. I know my clients love them but I have had two in my facility for a year, they have both been replaced once about a month after they got here and now again for the past two months have been down. The keyboard is locking.

I have 4 bikes 3 working. These bikes are great in theory but junk had many problems no wonder they went out of business the new company that took them over when I finally got to talk to someone hung up on me when I said I was upset that they would not cover the warranty. My opinion purchasing these bikes was a big mistake.

These machines are cool, but the quality is horrifically poor. Dealing with the new company Interactive Fitness Holdings is a nightmare. They charge outrageous prices for the replacements of parts. I do not recommend the purchase of these bikes to anyone. Technology is good but I have spent an additional $2,000 per bike since we bought these bikes 1.5 years ago. Please avoid the headache and do not purchase.
