Quick tip : Keep a workout diary
September 8th, 2007Regardless of what sort of exercise you do, keeping a workout diary can prove incredibly useful. Particularly after you’ve been working out for a year or more.
When I say ‘workout diary‘, I don’t necessarily mean anything fancy. A notebook and pen is really all you need. Just keep it handy whenever you set to work - whether that’s a quick set of sit-ups each morning or a lunchtime run around the park - and jot down what you did. In a few months or more you can glance back and say to yourself ‘Is that all I was doing then? I’ve come a long way in a few months‘.
It’s great motivation.

If you find yourself in this second group, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to quit drinking coffee (although a bit of moderation here is definitely a good thing); just understand it. Before you fill the cup, make sure there’s some healthy food nearby. Bananas are great.
