Carol Burnette Show Elephant Story

March 21st, 2008

When I was growing up, I watched the Carol Burnette show almost every day. It was on at 5:00 for an hour and my mom hated it. She called Carol “that screaming woman”, but I loved Tim Conway and the other cast members. This is the Tim Conway Siamese elephant story outtake that was made famous over the years.

Thanks to Mel at Insight Eye Photography for the heads up on it.

Holy Shit

My favorite saying, Holy Shit, now available visibly. Somehow fitting at this time of year. I wonder if the 3 wise men saw this in the bowl?

Where Does The Time Go?

September 28th, 2007

This makes complete sense to me as I’ve experienced the results of this graph in my own life. When we’re in a relationship, we spend less time in front of a computer and more with our favorite partner and end up spending money. If you use the computer to make money, then spending this time away from the computer will lower your income.

The reverse is also true of course, that when you’re single, you spend more time at the computer and your income goes up.

All of which is summed up in this crappy graph. See more , done by Brian Shaler.

Why I Can’t Lose Weight - Weight Loss Humor

September 7th, 2007

Part of the Friday Fun theme, a really cool weight loss humor cartoon about not being able to lose weight because of the metal filings in your teeth. Yes, they can act as powerful magnets pulling you back to the fridge for just one more little nibble of your favorite snack. Have a great Friday, have fun, be safe and Be Well.
