When Is The Right Time For Weight Loss?

RobBy Rob

When do you make the final decision to take action on your weight? What’s the last straw that pushes you over the edge? What is your “warning weight”… the number that you set in your head that says “ok, gotta have a look at my training and my diet”? Is it when you pants no longer fit? Or you have to squeeze into that theater seat? Or is it when your doctor says “you have to do something or you’re going to die” ? or is it when you sit on the chair at the Christmas Party only to have it collapse under your weight?

I have a friend who keeps talking about his weight and setting goals to do something about it. I’ve been given a written “goal” listing why, when and how this is going to happen, yet it never seems to. Something keeps getting in the way and stopping this person from actually taking charge and doing it.

Finally, the moment came.

Speaking My Truth

RobBy Rob

I have let my beliefs keep my hands tied for so long so as to appeal to everyone and not piss any one off. I have not spoken my truth but I will no longer let that happen. I cannot make everyone happy all the time and I’m not going to limit myself any longer. I am taking a stand to honor my truth and who I really am. I am a very loving man, very Spiritual, want to be surrounded by beautiful women but have one committed woman in my life and honor her and her truth. I swear, I love, I give, I laugh and I cry. I have two cats that I love very much. I appreciate the beauty in all things. I train hard.. I sweat. I have a bible, but I’ve never read it. I drink occasionally, Red Wine and a good beer. I was vegetarian for 12 years of which 2 were Vegan… Now I’m not. I love meat… I’m a real guy, and I simply will not hesitate with my choices of words when I’m writing any longer.

One Serious Commitment To Weight Loss

RobBy Rob

This is the most incredible email I have ever gotten in my life. This is from a good friend of mine Angela Murray and shortly after receiving it, I realized she was not asking a question, but sending me her commitment to taking action on her goal. She clearly lists what she’s willing to do, she’s open to feedback and direction, stated what she knows and what she doesn’t know, has taken measurements and she’s journaling the entire process. This is what she sent me:

OK! Here is my weakness, holding myself accountable for working out, eating right and drinking water. I want to have a healthy hot body so bad, yet when ever I attempt to do something about it, I sluff off, de-commit. I just measured myself, WOW, this is my heaviest ever (other than pregnant phase)

one serious commitment to weight loss

Weight: 132 lbs

Inches
Neck: 13″
Upper left arm: 10.5
Upper right arm: 10.75
Bust: 33.25
Diaphragm: 29.5
Waist: 36
Abdomen: 36
Buttocks: 37.5
upper Left thigh: 21.5
Upper Right thigh: 22
Calf left: 12.75
Calf right: 12.75
Upper knee left: 15.5
Upper knee right: 15.5

I understand that not all my inches will decrease as I build muscle, I feel my legs are in pretty good shape, I want to build more muscle mass.

I am COMMITTING to Mon,Wed, Fri to weight work out, Tues, Thurs, Sat to walking, cardio.

I am increasing my protein, decreasing my carbs, drinking more water. I will journal my daily activity and food each night before I go to sleep.

I will be kind to myself, love myself and enjoy this journey.

I have no “measurable” goal to reach as I have very little idea what is healthy, I would love to be 118 lbs but have no idea how much muscle that is or body % of fat.

All I know is I want more energy, to look fucking Fabulous, feel good inside and hot and be healthy about my choices.

I am open to suggestions, tips, feedback and any other offers you have!

I respect you and trust you and I know we can depend on each other for kicks in the ass or celebrating words.

I realize it is one more thing on your plate, as it is on mine, you don’t need to hold my hand every day, and feel free to say when you are busy and don’t have time to answer my question, just kick me with loving supportive words to keep me going.

Thank you Coop! I am totally ok with you saying No to this too, just so you know!

I am off to journal and get a good night sleep!

Nighty Night!

Weight Loss And Fitness Expert Interviews

RobBy Rob

If you had the chance to ask any expert in the field of weight loss, fitness, muscle building or strength training, what would you ask? What would you want to know.

Lets say you wanted to ask Tom Venuto a question. Would you email him? would you join his membership forum and hope to hear from him? How would you connect with him to ask that ONE BURNING question?

Does it even interest you to be able to hear from these mentors and role models? To me it is. I believe that the easiest way to get where you want to go is to follow the map laid out by someone who’s been there before you, learn how they think and then duplicate what they accomplished. It’s the easiest way to skip what doesn’t work and go straight to what DOES work.

Frank Zane

How about legendary bodybuilder Frank Zane? Frank won Mr Olympia in 1977, 78 and 79. What would you want to know about his training now that he’s in his 60’s. Did you know that

Only three people in the history of professional bodybuilding ever defeated Arnold Schwarzenegger. Frank is one of those three people.

What about Dr Barry Sears, or Harvey Diamond? What would you want to ask these Nutrition experts about your diet? or your favorite foods? You get the idea.
