I have been using Google Personalized home page.
http://www.google.ca/ig You need an account with them which is free. I already had one since I use gmail. You can personalize content. I have several tabs set up for my interests with one of them being Weight Loss. In there I have links that populate with different articles and tips. I also have something loaded call the google 15. Basically you weigh yourself daily and enter it in. It gives you a nice graph of your progress and I have found is helping me to notice patterns in weight gain and loss.
For example, in my introduction I mentioned that I am trying to eat healthy through the week but on weekends I indulge more. As a result my graph looks like peaks and valleys. The valleys are through the week when I am eating healthy and the peaks are the weekends. I also notice that each week the max peak is a little lower then the previous week’s peak so I can easily tell I am making progress over time. Also as a result I have decided to now cut back to every other weekend of indulging. Eventually that will be cut back as well. It is nice to be able to see, graphically the progress I am making.
You can also add more than one instance of the tracker to your home page. I have one for my long term goal (where I want to be) and one for a short term goal. Each time I reach the short term goal I will reset it to the new goal.
That tool is just to track weight but there are others tools you can add to your homepage that track what you eat as well as many other things. In case I haven't explained that well and if you have any questions let me know and I will see if I can clarify anything. This has worked really well for me as I spend time on my customized home page everyday anyway to read news and other items like that so this allowed me to track it without having to go to a new site. I have too many user names as passwords as it is.
Thanks,
Mike
