Sorry I am late. Been very busy. Up to Ottawa last week and roofing on the weekend then other stuff around the house to get it ready. The weight below is from Monday of this week.

Starting Weight: 423
Last Week's Weight: 368
This Week's weight: 368

A couple of reasons for the lack of change. First was my friends in Ottawa. They don't eat very healthy. We had to stay in a Bed and Breakfast with no access to a fridge. One thing I have taken away from this is the need to plan better when we are away from home. I think the healthies thing I at while we were there was a frozen lasagna they made. I am astounded at how bad I feel if I get away from the healthy eating I have started doing. My energy felt a lot lower and just felt like crap.

It was good to be back home and get back into a somewhat normal routine. One thing I am finding with being so busy at home getting the house ready to sell is I am eating at different times and differently than usual. it is not so much a problem through the day when I am at work because that routine is the same but when I get home I start working on what needs to be done for the night and found I wasn't eating until much later and some nights not as well as I could. So starting today I will be making my wellness the priority. I can still get everything done that I need to do I just need to be more aware of timing and making sure I am prepared for evening meals ahead of time. By not being prepared I found that 8 or 9 PM would roll around and realize I still need to make dinner which leads to easy and convienient food which most times in unhealthy food.

I have also found that I am not in the least bit concerned about not losing any weight this week (I think this is the first week since I have started that I have failed to drop any weight). I told myself ahead of time that this is a long haul lifestyle thing. I know that if I keep doing what I am doing it will happen and when situations come up like Ottawa that it is not normal and everytime something like Ottawa happens that I can take something from it and help make next time better. In the grand scheme of things not losing one week or even gaining doesn't affect my over all goal.

Well that was long and rambling.

No worries Mike! Thanks for sharing your learning experience with us. Learning experiences are great. Next time you're faced with a similar situation you can try some new tactics. I take meal sized balanced shake mixes and other similar things with me on trips, for those little emergencies when there's either no time or no good food choices available.

Keep up the good work!

Last Week's Weight: 368
This Week's weight: 364.8

Thanks,

I will do monthly weigh ins, I choose not to go weekly. Its too stressful for me and besides too many changes happen in my body!

15 pounds of fat released and down 18 inches! :jumping

I keep meaning to take measurements but I never seem to get around to doing it. I am know I am losing inches as clothes that used to fit are huge now and clothes that used to be a little snug slide on with no problems at all. It is very interesting seeing the changes.
