Thanks Rob. I have been asking myself that for the last few days. I have been eating cheat meals so it can not be that.

I have been planning in advance a weeks worth of meals. I watch the calories - some high days, some low days but all within a certain range. Before, I bet I was eating more than I realized.

Walking has been my only exercise because of my back - but losing weight while walking strikes me as odd as I was doing more exercise the previous months (like elliptical, aerobic classes, etc) and was not having much success.

I have been focusing on getting around 40g of fiber a day from food (no metamucil) - that probably helps a lot.

The thing that keeps running through my mind is that I have been taking Sunrider foods for just over 6 months now. I remember you telling me when I started that my body would probably take this new source of nutrition and use it to heal/feed my body in areas where it is really needed - that my body will probably not focus on burning fat right away. You said probably around the 6 month mark, my body would be able to focus on burning fat. (Rob, I am paraphrasing so if I got anything wrong, please feel free to correct me) So, what you said was right or it is quite the coincidence.

In the month of Jan, I stopped using the energy patches. I though it was possible that they were causing my heart burn (when I wore them on the shoulder position). So I just stopped using them period to see how I felt. My heart burn went away and I also started burning fat. Not sure if there is a connection. I think sometime in Feb I will start wearing them again on one of the other 3 positions and see how I feel.

did you do muscle testing to see what is the best place to put your patches? Do you know how to do that?

You put your arm out to the side straight out from your shoulder and hold it there.

Then get your boyfriend to ask you a question like "tell me your name" - answer truthfully and have him press down at your wrist with two fingers while you resist. Your arm should be strong enough to hold.

Then repeat and give a false answer - when he pushes down you won't be able to resist and your arm will lower somewhat. That is muscle testing - your body inherently knows what is good for you and what is true/right.

Then try that with the question "is this the best place to put my energy patches" and have him touch one of the spots, when do the test. You should see one show up stronger than that others - put them there. Mine is ankles.

Screw the patches for now. Focus on food. Keep doing what you're doing. It might be that the patches helped with some internal stuff as well instead of burning fat.

What you're doing right now is spot on it seems.

more - more!!!

Update:

I gained .6lbs this week but I thought it would have been worse. I got engaged this weekend and my food/exercise plans went out the window!

I am going to use the same goals as last week as I only followed it for a few days last week (as Andrew proposed on Fri - so the party began then!).

Sorry this isn't a longer post. I think I am still in shock as I have never been engaged before and my fiance totally surprised me!
