Question: Would You Blog About Your Journey?

Postby Rob on Fri Jul 27, 2007 5:26 pm

as part of my mission to inspire as many people to take action on their health and weight by incorporating weight training into their life, I have this question.

I've thought about this for a few months but didn't know how or when it would fit.

it's coming back to the front of my brain now.

I'm wanting to create a blog for us and anyone else who wants to join it, to journal their weight loss journey.. their fitness journey for the world to read.

I'm interested in doing some revenue sharing as well. ie: you can earn money by blogging and linking to your author page on your blog.

this would inspire more people
make you famous
make new friends
change more lives
increase members of this site, who then benefit from our collective support and encouragement
make you famous - and maybe get onto People magazine, Oprah etc
earn you some income, a little or a lot. Maybe $100 extra a month or more? Maybe $20, hard to say.
make you famous
maybe even save a life?

I'd take care of the blogging platform, the marketing (well most of it), the overhead of it etc.

All you'd do is blog. Write your beautiful souls out into digital form... ones and zeros for the world to see and be inspired. And then link to your profile pages, your author pages.

Update: oh... and a share of the revenue. Could you use an extra $20 a month? or $50 or $100?
I'd be willing to split the revenue from it. You blog your journey, earn money, change lives. What would you do with the extra money? it might pay for some Sunrider products for you, or a free book each month or some exercise equipment or a great night out for dinner with your other half. This would be a special treat for members of this forum and not necessarily offered anywhere else. Being a member of this forum has it's perks

Anyone interested?

I have been thinking about doing something along that line lately. Just haven't got started yet.

I would be up for it.

So I found an amazing solution for this.

I'll be putting it in place when I return from Vegas.

It Totally rocks man!

you get your own blog and everything... very very cool.

I'll be setting one up for the weight loss stories / fitness stories and also one for travel for people who want to blog about their traveling experiences.

Yes, I noticed you visited my http://www.blogbuildingbasics.com website where I teach others how to blog, market and earn money from it while building their empire.

Hold off on getting started. Myspace does not support YOU at all, but rather supports them. Why not use a method that does the same thing except you can earn some money to improve your life. Mmmmmm, I love it.

I have been blogging my journey and its more of a diary. Blogs need to be consistent.. meaning daily or weekly entries to gain a good readership. Mine are not consistent. I end up posting my thoughts on forums and the like to get feedback from others and hear their experiences as well. Two way conversation of sorts..
