I'm following a modified low-carb diet, with lots of healthy nuts, lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Since September 29, 2008, I haven't had a single starchy food, no processed sugars, no sodas, and no caffeine. All I drink is water, and I feel great. In the past, I was "addicted" to diet sodas, sugary snack foods, and salty stuff. Now, I eat lots of almonds, cashews, pecans, grilled chicken, lettuce, broccoli, strawberries, lemons, limes, and carrots. My diet is "boring", but I find that now that I'm off the sugar and starches, I can actually TASTE my food.
