I had a look at the diet cookies.

1. It's a diet

2. it does nothing to teach anyone about food

3. there are no ingredients listed on the site at all. It says nothing about what's in them.

4. it does nothing to teach responsibility

5. Sets a poor example for children. "eat a cookie every 3 hours - that's it"

When you tell yourself that you choose not to have something you want it more. Give yourself a treat once a day ( ie. half a cookie) and you won't feel you are missing out.
