Well..... it is Friday evening and all my company has left and gone home. Boy am I worn out. It has been a very nice visit this week. I don't get to see my family very much. I have been busy with work and visiting. So I have been very lax with my diet and exercise this week.

Tomorrow I don't have to work so my big plans are to get my exercise room in order. I have all the equipment gathered in my spare room, but I still have to remove a desk and bed and set everyting up where I can easily move between each piece. My sister is supposed to come by and help me.

I am also in the process of planning my vacation. I intend to take a week off in September and go somewhere. My plans had been to go to Toronto for a few days, I may still head in that direction. I am kind of leaning toward visiting Niagra Falls so if I get that close then I am heading across the border! Look out Canada I may be invading! :shifty:

Hopefully, I will be able to get online and post more now. I have been missing all our newcomers. I feel like I have not done my duty by greeting everyone.

See ya'll around! Have a good weekend!

>>>>>> sneaking in....

I am still around believe it or not. It has been a hectic couple of months for me. All my plans went out the window for a while and I have been wandering around wondering how I got here and how I am gonna get back.

My vacation plans had to be put on hold because my sister had a ruptured appendix and almost died. She is ok now thank goodness but it was really scary for a while. Then my other sister that was living with me finally got the go ahead to move to another state so that meant Melissa had to drop everything and make arrangements and get everything done for the move and then afterwards, I have been for the last couple of weeks, trying to get my self and house back in order.

It's funny how you take for granted the way things are. I was living by myself for a while and everything was mine. Then I had my sister move in for a little over a year and slowly it seemed like nothing was mine anymore. Don't get me wrong, I loved having her here and I miss her now, but in order to make her feel like this was home I let myself feel like I was a visitor. I am finally starting to feel like I can do things again.

As for my diet and exercise.... what diet and exercise???? Who has time when so much is going on around you and it seems like I had to be the center (brain) of everything. But I believe things have settled down again for a while. (I hope) I finally have gotten things organized (to a degree) I am back on track with my eating. I am back to my walking and I am going to get in gear with my planned exercise routine.

At least I did not gain a ton of weight in the last couple of months. I only battled a few pounds. I guess that my eating is something that has finally stuck in my head. Although I might eat things I know I should not eat, I am concious of what effect they will have on me and do limit my "splurges" and I know when to call it quits. The thing I have to work on is to stop having those "splurges" altogether. They seem to come from nowhere and I haven't quite figured out what the trigger really is yet.

But, even though I haven't been posting, I have been dropping by to read about you all from time to time. My this place is really jumping now! Wow.... all the newbies is amazing. Anyway...I am still here, still plugging along and wishing you all the best!

See you around!
