Rob,

A chicken tender is basically a skinny chicken breast.

I like to grill them or bake them, but mainly I drop them in a pot of water and cook them up plain.

It is the little piece at the back of the breast that kinda comes away from the piece...is it not?

Day 2... hanging in there
Today I actually managed to crawl out of bed at 4:00 am and exercise! :jogging

I walked on my gazelle for 15 minutes and then did 20 crunches on my ab lounge. Jumped in the shower and got ready for work.

After I get to work, I have breakfast. This morning I had 2 boiled eggs (whites) and 2 pieces of sausage and a cup of coffee.

Snack was 2.50 ounces of tuna with a little mayo

Lunch was really yummy! I had a salad with grilled chicken breast cut up on it with ranch dressing. I also had a whole cucumber and some steamed broccolli and cauliflower in butter and garlic.

I stopped by the grocery store on my way home and picked up some more veggies, eggs, tuna and chicken! These are my main foods.

For dinner I had 2 lean turkey burgers with SF relish and spicy mustard. For dessert I ate SF jello and another cup of coffee.

I have been limiting my coffee to 2 cups a day. I also have drank 120 ounces of water today! Woo Hoo... two days in a row.

Later!

Mel

Yes well done indeed! I couldn't (pardon me - choose not to!) get up at 4am.

Only thing I'd suggest is eating sooner after getting up. Within 30 minutes is best. So exercise, then eat, then shower and go. That will get your metabolism going faster.

What is "SF"?

I decided that I was going to have to find time to exercise and that seems to be it right now.

I have to drive almost an hour to get to work, then I put in at least 10 hours and have another hour to come home. So by the time I get home and do some things around the house, it's time for bed.

Once upon a time I would get up every morning and do a thirty minute workout with a show on tv at 6 am. There isn't any on at 4 am.

I already am feeling better about myself since I have started paying more attention to the details.

I would love to break that 200 pound weight by the new year.

I guess I could try to eat before I leave the house. I have just gotten into such a habit of taking food with me and eating as soon as I get to work. I know I have read that about eating soon after awaking.

SF is sugar free. I only eat sugar free things when I can help it. Sugar free jello, and sugar free pickle relish are two of my favorites.
