You have an incredible story!!!

I am having the same issue with my husband. He seems to be set on keeping me buried under layers of fat. It's MY body and I am the only one that has the copyright!!!!

I believe you to be an incredibly strong woman. Congratulations on your successes!!

Thanks everyone.

I have been so frustrated with a lot of things lately, work, family, my weight loss, etc, I have become the emotional wreck that I swore I would never be. I guess that is what made me spill my guts last night. I have been on several other boards over the years and this one is the first one that I opened up like that on.

But I guess it does a person good to share sometimes. I just hope that someone reading it will be inspired to do something for themselves.

This is a journey and I am in it for the long haul. I am trying to better myself and I am an independent woman. I was that way prior to marriage and it took a while to gain it back but Baby it's here!

Thank you all for your kind words.

See you around and I will keep adding to my story.

I am here. I had company this weekend and they finally left. Now it is just time to pick up the pieces. Doesn't it seem like everytime you have something you really want to do, there is something that comes along and keeps you from doing it.

I did manage to get in two miles of walking yesterday, some crunches on my ab lounge and even a little work with the resistance bands. I had to keep the weights under lock and key as I had two boys running around and there's no telling what would happen if they found them!

I have been reading a little today on the BFFM book. The ideas are making sense. I haven't gotten too far yet, but I definately have the mentality for self sabatoge. I am one that would look in a mirror and say I am so fat. I will never lose this weight, etc. I realize that the negative thinking is what is makeing me fall off the wagon, eat someting that I know I shouldn't and basically set myself up to fail. This is definitely something I am going to work on and I WILL change this habit. I WILL lose weight. I CAN accomplish my goals.

I will admit that this week has been pretty damn stressful and I have not followed a good eating plan, although I did do fairly well in the exercise department, I know that the scale is going to be up tomorrow. Monday is my official weigh day. But I have only myself to blame and only myself to fix the problem. I intend to do just that. My goal is to get back on the right path nutrionally speaking tomorrow, and to take it one day at a time. Baby steps.... one issue at a time.... by focusing on the "right now" I will be able to overcome the temptations of everyday life.

I sure hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Thank you Mel, from the bottom of my heart!, for sharing your words.
I believe in you and want you to know I am here to support you any way I can.
I have been divorced for 3 1/2 years now, I was married almost 13 years to a unsupportive negative heavy drinker.
He knew how to bring me down with only a few words. I told him one day I was going to leave him, he laughed.
That day finally came and the best gift I gave myself was taking my power back and living the "real" me!
I am speaking as the first person as that is something I have learned this past couple years, I mean the words for you as well, when
you read them your sub-conscious will know you are speaking about yourself and not someone else, does that make sense? hope so!
When I choose for me, I am happy. When I am happy I see joy. When I see joy I feel love. When I feel love I become love.
When people are unsupportive of me and say nasty things, that is their shit! They choose not to handle what they are seeing, doing or who they are being.
Sending unconditional love to everyone who comes into my life has been my biggest win, not always easy let me tell you but worth every moment.
I Love Myself and that is all that matters!
I read Debbie Ford's book, The Dark Side of the Light Chasers and I bought Louise Hay's books, which I still read today.
You are a very strong full of life woman, I am very excited to a part of your journey!
Find an Anchor, dig deep find some pain and when you don't want to exercise or want to eat junk, find the pain!
All my unconditional love and support from my heart to yours Mel!
Enjoy the Journey My Friend

Well, I ordered the weight bench. It is supposed to be delivered on 8/6/07. I can hardly wait.

I decided last night that I was going to get really strict again. I went back to my protein and veggies (low carb) for the next 14 days. Then I will start adding back in more things. I have let the sugar monster get a hold on me again. (sugar, chocolate etc)

I already have my alarm set for 4 am but I snooze until 4:30 or so, but I am going to jump out of bed and start using that thirty minutes to get in some exercise.

So my plans are starting to be formed, and I will put them in place.

Today went pretty well...

Breakfast was sausage and three boiled eggs (whites only) with one cup of coffee.

Snack was tyson canned chicken breast (one of the little lunch kits) 2.50 ounces with a little mayo

Lunch was four chicken tenders cooked in water (plain) with some raw veggies, broccoli, celery and cauliflower.

Snack was 10 natural almonds

Dinner was two chicken tenders diced up with a tsp of mayo and 1/2 tsp SF pickle relish, broccoli slaw and another cup of coffee.

I drank 120 ounces of pure water today!

It's a start....

umm ya, that looks like a pretty tasty food day!!!!!!!!

Awesome job with the water. I have found that since I have been in the gym, my body seems to require much much more than normal. I get thirsty quickly and I am constantly drinking.

How is your exercise plan coming along?

Awesome...

What's a Chicken Tender? Can you post the nutritional info and or the ingredients please. I'm curious (or a link to the nutri info online)

Here's what I'm noticing about myself and wanting to share. There is no possible way that I could read everything in here as it gets posted, but I find that it's really cool to come back and then be able to read an entire weeks or two weeks worth of journey that someone has taken. Thanks for posting your daily story.. very cool. I like it. and... I love the smile's you keep posting.. when I have a spare moment (audible snort and laugh), I'm going to go to that smiley web place and have a look at a bunch. I like the little bench presser dude and the group hugs.
