I just rolled in from the gym, and I can not express to you enough how good I feel. My muscles are burning, my lungs are still protesting a bit, and I fuckin stink!!!

I missed this so much.

I saw a few familiar faces this morning and they were actually excited to see me there again.
Some of the welcome backs were sooooo girly!! hahhahaa
...you know...the whole shriek and run hug thing...OMG IT''S J !!!!!!!!!!!

yes Rob, my face was probably flushed the ENTIRE time....
:shifty:

It made me feel incredible inside that they missed me...that they even noticed my absense. I must have struck a chord somewhere along the way.
This is really the best motivation that there is...people that believe in you, no matter what.

UGH!!! k, shower time, if I sit here any longer my whole bedroom is going to smell like a locker room.

Have a good weekend guys. Seeeeeeee you Monday!!!

i just had a thought...a possible setback for my workout tomorrow.

Tonight I work, and am expecting to be out of there no earlier than 4am. I will definatly be too tired in the morning for a decent workout.

The nice thing about my job is that I am really only busy at the beginning of the night and again when the show is over. On average I have 3-5 hours(straight) where I just sit around and read, watch the show, wander aimlessly or surf the web. Tonight I am bringing my gym gear with me instead.

It'll be easy because EEC and Golds Gym (open 24 hours) are in the same mall...all I gotta do is walk over to the other side of the building. I mean, sure I'll get sweaty and stinky but the gym has showers that I can use and then I'll just put some mascara on or something
hahhaha

problem solved

later dudes

EEEPPPP!!!

It's been so busy around here. Makes the time go by quickly...too quickly maybe!!!

I intend to detail the past two weeks this weekend. I am on track, trying different things. I'm excited about where I am right now. I'm starting to come into a routine that I am comforatable with. My body has responded with a 4 pound loss.
I have been reading the "Attractor Factor", and strongly recommend it to anyone who has yet to read it.
Thank you for sharing it with me, Rob and Darlene.

See you guys in a bit

OK!!!

so much for the reporting in every monday hey?
hahaha

yikes

I'll start off by saying that these last two weeks have really been quite wonderful. I am in a fantastic head space right now.
I originally stated that I would be using "Fit chic" as my workout/nutritional program...choose not to say that I am following that EXACTLY...but ya, pretty much.
I have been excellent when it comes to my daily workouts. I have been consistent with both cardio and weights. Weekly cardio was a bit of a concern for me at the start. With no cardio equipment at home I didn't think that I would be able to get a very effective "session" daily.
YOU CAN DO HIIT WITH JUST A SKIPPING ROPE...did ya knooooow that? I didn't!!!!
:shifty:
When I am able to get out on my own I like to walk...fast...
(ok, not super human speed or anything but I sure aint dawdling). The kids come with me if the weather is nice during the day. I have also turned my stairs into a sprint course during nap time.

I have yet to incorporate turbulence training into my program, but I intend to play with it this week.

Last weekend I was at the gym Saturday and Sunday. I probably spent a good two hours each session. This weekend was Saturday morning and will be Sunday afternoon (date with Diana)

I did not try a recipe from the blog, but I did try a new food. Tofu. It wasn't as horrible as I had anticipated it to be...not even close.

As a result of good food choices and increased activity, I have said goodbye to 4 lbs

That is awesome, Jessie! A few years ago when I took cardio kickboxing classes, they had us skip for 2 - 3 minute intervals. The first few times I could barely skip - I was just that unco-ordinated! I am sure it was funny to watch!

Kudos on your weight loss! :cheer
