k, first thing first

1. Thank you for posting your routine. Cool. Yes they can get stale, thats why you want to switch things up at least every 6 weeks

2. I go to club fit too and you're right... there are people of all shapes, sizes and ages. From what I can tell, there is respect for ANYONE who shows up because they're doing something about their health, physique. They're not there to laugh

3. I recommend a trainer as well. My Trainer is awesome. Her focus is on functional training and rehab, not weight loss. She's the best

4. I was wondering partly about what you're doing because I kinda want to get a small group to do something together Sunday mornings to start at say 10:00 am in the river valley. Kind of like a little boot camp. Once a week to start, just to mix things up. I was thinking of some walking to warm up, then some stair climbing at the Glenora Stairs. Stair climbing can turn into stair running over the course of a few months. Some core work, some jungle gym work at the Kinsman field house and some uphill sprints over there too.

One hour max. Great way for Turtle, Me, Darlene (Photogirl), You and whomever else to get out, get some air, get sweaty, meet some people and have a great story to tell about how this all came together.

oh, and I also want to put the 7 minute circuit to the test and come up with some more of my own and from Craig's Book Turbulence Training which I'm now reviewing. I don't know if I mentioned this, but I'm interviewing Craig Ballentyne too.

I'm totally up for the Sunday morning routine, it sounds like a fantastic idea!!!
I'm only a newbie but I will try to keep up if you will be patient. hahahahhaha

Does your trainer work out of Club fit? What is the monthly cost for her services?

Money does play a factor for me as I have a family of 6. I think I failed to mention that I have children, actually. I have four of them....two girls and two boys.
Chelsea is 8, Riley is 3, and the twins, Brennen and Jase will be 2 in October.
I am positive that I can budget accordingly though, by giving up certain things, like smoking.

holy shit, would not have guessed that you had 6 kids.

She used to be in charge of the club fit trainers and trained them. Then they downsized and she would not work for what they were offering her.

so now she trains out of her studio in the west end. She puts together programs for me and then I follow them at CLub Fit. The trainers there know me and they scoop up the new exercises that Tracy designed for me and then begin to use them with THEIR clients. Funny.

Not sure what she charges actually. You can contact her through her Edmonton Personal Trainer website.

As for Sunday mornings, ya, it's for all fitness levels. I'm not into running per se, but uphill sprints, yep. Uphill sprints can burn fat 300% faster.

maybe having you out will be the thing that gets Turtle off his ass and participating. Then you two meet.... and have more kids... etc. I'll let you two handle that part though

nah man.....I only have 4 kids!!!
I do babysit occasionally which does bring the runt total to a whopping 6.

Well fancy that...it just so happens that I live on the west end!!! I sent her out an email from the site you provided.
I also name dropped (yours of course) maybe that will get me some sort of cool person rate or something *fingers crossed* hahahahaha

If it gets Turtle out, wicked!!!
Unfortunatly for your little theory I can not have any more kids...after I started popping out two at a time I figured that was quite enough.

That's Rob always thinking about my well being, even if he has to appeal to the more animal side of me... I guess he doesn't know that I had the plumbing disconnected five years ago too, so even if you hadn't I did! I like being an uncle that's good enough for me.

Rob and I have also discussed the Sunday morning routine, of course Rob already knows generally where I am sunday mornings... trying to get on a load at the Drop Zone! Our Jumping season is short enough up here and I like to try and get out as much as possible. This year more than in the past as I have a couple goals I want to reach by this time next season. First one being I want to have my C license so that I can in turn get my Exhibition Jump Rating. These two require jump numbers and time and time isn't on my side in this province.

However! THere's always a way around things. This weekend I am in Ft Mac for their first airshow here in a long time. I've never been on this side of the fence before. Trip up paid for, room paid for, meals paid for and front row for the show. When I say front row, I mean I'm on the airfield under all the action. It's fricken awesome!

We will have to get started on it. Gotta do more!

Take care all, cya soon Blush! ;)

This is UNFAIR...Totally UNFAIR !!!! If you, Rob Cooper, were atrating this community to have fun with people from ALberta only, you should have said it BEFORE I fall in love with all of them !!!!! If you start this sunday morning thing, you have to also do in in Ontario for Michelle and in Quebec for me...Do what you have to do babe and get cloned...we need a Rob in every damn province of this endless country. na !
Don't give up what you want the most for what you want at the moment...
