What Procedes Great Success

What Procedes Great Success

Postby Rob on Wed Jul 18, 2007 9:55 am

Listen, being uncomfortable is part of the journey to success. It just is.

I choose not to stand when people confuse 'good uncomfortability'
with "things aren't working".

They quit on themselves without giving themselves a real chance to succeed. It's not right.

Success is a journey from AWKWARD TO NATURAL.

From awkward to natural.

You're awkward when you first start selling.

You're awkward when you try marketing for the first time.

Your awkward when you prospect on the phone the first few times (or more.)

You're awkward when you have sex for the first time. You're probably motivated and inspired, but awkward. [Rob's addition]

This is NORMAL.

Remember: You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

Allow yourself to get through the uncomfortable stage.

Push through.

Experience the growth. You can DO IT.

Then, you'll look back and see "It wasn't as tough as I thought."

It never is.

Woody Allen said, "90% of success is showing up."
There's a TON of truth in that statement. There really is.

Make the next 24 hours GREAT.

[Rob's Note:] I got this in my email today from Mike Litman. It always seems like he knows what's going on in my life and sends emails that are "so on target that it's freaky"
Just wanted to post this because it seemed important to share

No, Mike is my coach from a personal thing.. not ST. Never did have a ST coach. I was going to BE a coach for them though. In the Internet Marketing arena.

funny, I started http://www.blogbuildingbasics.com and then got REALLY busy with this site, so that one has been put on the back burner.

My dad always said:

"Do one thing at a time
Do it well..
then move on"

I'm reading Joe Vitale's "The Attractor Factor" right now. Got it from amazon. Wonderful book. Hard to put down really.

OMG Dar, another plane just flew over, so I ran to the window and saw two helicopters ready to do a pass through downtown. Went outside and saw another helicopter hovering over downtown while these two military helicopters flew in formation down jasper. I believe it's the K-Days kick off parade stuff.

I know I was in the military in some past life

Hi Lucie

it's a standing joke between Phil and everyone - now you're all in on it. Is quite funny actually - there are a lot of web sites like that. Look fine as a name, but run them together and are quite funny.

anyone in Edmonton - go down to the Ex and see my work!
