About Rob Cooper:
In 1989 I was at my heaviest weight of 475 pounds, was a smoker, drank heavily, used drugs, drove cab and the most exercise I got was going from my taxi to the restaurant and back.
I was finally told, in no uncertain terms, that enough was enough. I had what I called "my episode" whereby my heart "freaked out" on me and I thought I was going to die.
I took it upon myself to make a new years resolution to do something about my health and over the next 2.5 years learned, read and put into practice everything I was reading.
I learned and most importantly, I took action.
The result was a 288 pound weight loss which left me at a very gaunt and scrawny 187 pounds. From here, I took up bodybuilding as a hobby and went on to gain over 50 pounds of lean muscle.
You can read my entire story about how I lost 300 pounds of fat.
I used all natural methods of weight loss focusing on whole foods and supplementation. I was introduced to the Sunrider line of products in 1991 and they have become the foundation of my nutritional program. As of this date, it's been 16 wonderful years of eating the Sunrider foods and continuing to become better and better.
My philosophy is to learn something new every day about health and wellness and then put it into practice to see if it works for me or not. I've come to know a great deal in various aspects of health, wellness, fitness and personal growth and now have an opportunity to share that with you, the reader.
What I've put together here is a place for the experts in their fields of the philosophies that I use and promote to teach you themselves how to finally take charge of your life, your health, your weight, your wellness and give you the tools you can use to succeed.
I believe that there is no "perfect solution" for everyone, but rather choices and options that may work for you, but not for your neighbor. I feel it is my duty to share with you what I know, what I use, how I think and help you find a role model for you to follow. I'm a BIG believer in the statement "if they can do it, you can do it".
I'm excited to be in this place where I can allow a medium to share what I know, who I know, the products I use to improve and become better and to watch you take the steps you need to once and for all, create the reality that you desire... however that looks for you.
Lets Change Some Lives

I saw that this got censored in the United States, then found it on YouTube. Sally Field’s If Mothers Ruled The World uncensored video clip will be displayed here for any comments one way or the other. I don’t believe in censorship for anyone. Freedom of speech and all that mumbo jumbo, […]

My trainer is asked about her legs all the time. She had 4 Canadian power lifting records and currently still holds 3 of them. She’s got great legs and I know from experience that other women ask her about her leg training program. She responds “I don’t train legs, I train ass“. This […]

Water is such an important part of our lives and the role it plays in our body, every aspect of our body, is not to be underestimated. Because water is such a critical factor, wouldn’t it be safe to assume that the quality of that water is just as important? Water is life […]

One of the primary exercises used during kettlebell training is the one hand and two hand kettlebell swing. This exercise is a fundamental movement in kettlebell training making use of and training the hips, legs, back and core. The swing should be practiced and mastered using a light weight bell before moving on […]

The importance of the role drinking water plays in your life can not be underestimated. As Harvey Diamond says, and I’ve quoted for years “Water is life! The better your water, the better your life”. When it comes to weight loss or just plain health in general, the quality and quantity of your drinking […]

Lets say you found out about a product, a medical device that could turn back the hands of time and you would begin to look and feel younger and younger with the passing of each day?
How much would you pay for the fountain of youth?

I got an email from a reader asking about The Cellular Patch and whether or not I actually use them and endorse them. The price of this device came into question at $100 for a month’s supply which got me thinking about the topic for this week’s podcast, investing in yourself.
I invest in myself […]

This is so just for fun and has nothing to do with any sort of seriousness, but will help settle an argument between Darlene and I. We were talking the other day and it turns out we have different thoughts around peeing in the shower. I’m not going to say which of us […]

Hundreds of people strip naked in protest of the glacial warming in Switzerland. Artist Spencer Tunick worked with 600 naked volunteers on the Aletsch Glacier in an effort to bring attention to what’s going on around us, global warming. It affects us all, but I believe it’s the governments that are going to have […]

I should be clear that the sugar burner and fat burner inner biochemistry imbalances are not the same as you would traditionally think of in a weight loss program. These are specific imbalances and do not refer to ability to burn fat. I did the simple point and click test about a week […]
