you can get a commercial product called Beano and have a few drops with the meal – it does help. But I prefer to just add them slowly into your diet and if you feel the need to eat at home only – then do so.

I recently had a day when I played floor hockey and I could NOT stop farting the whole game. I thought it was just funny. I thought maybe if I stand in front of the other goalie I’ll kill him and we’ll get a goal, LOL.

I try to take like not to seriously. Everyone farts, it’s normal. Nothing to be embarrassed about.

Actually it’s not wheat – only wheat is wheat. Spelt is a GRAIN, and so is wheat. But spelt is not wheat. Brown rice is a grain, so is kamut, so is barley, rye and triticale. Read this for more information:

Oh you can see where we stopped in Texas on our 17,000 mile 5.5 month trip through the US and Canada here: http://www.youngsnowbirds.com/places-visited/

Jon, most people agree that Austin isn’t really Texas. It isn’t at all like the rest of the state and I can attest to that, having been to Austin and around it a bit. Not many people in Austin speak “Texan” with little or no accent. Hit southern Texas around Corpus Christi and regions around it and you’re in real cattle country, full on Texas towns.

    Anyway, congrats, she’s gorgeous!

well you can’t really, that sorta defeats the purpose of using whole grains, not pre-processed flour. You won’t get the same fluffy pancakes unless you go buy some whole spelt. Try it, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the results.

Yes the whole leek, green and white parts. Spinach – hmm, that’s interesting – one bunch I’d say. Can’t remember now. You can’t really do it wrong.

Mmmm. I will make these soon!

Question: I KNOW someone else is thinking it as well as myself. I understand the benefits of fiber and this recipe using beans will cause more flatulence which is normal. However, for those of us who are concerned with that, is there a way to lesson this or prevent it? What I’m saying is, this might be something I will eat while I’m at home if you know what I mean. Vitadophilis will help as well.

The longer you eat Quinary on a regular basis, the more you will support your digestive system and be able to digest the beans. It’s just a matter of supporting your digestive system and time.

These look great! They are essentially a veggie burger, but I’ll have to give them a try. I post healthy and protein packed recipes on my blog as well and I’ll probably make these and post about them soon!

By the way, I have an awesome protein bar recipe you might like.

Thanks for sharing!

Ken, they’re really good. We have another recipe for a lentil burger that we’ll be releasing in March probably. This is grain month and the lentil burger has zero grains in it. It’s yummy
