I added a citation to the quote in the article The creator of the product was the commander of Seal Team Two From the Perfect Pushup website
As a SEAL Team TWO platoon commander, LCDR Mills' platoon was chosen for a one year study to determine why SEALs suffered unusually high injury rates during their careers.
Good call. I had quoted that from memory and did not take the time to go find the source. Thanks for asking Luis, sure thing.

Both versions look like great investments - time for a trip to Amazon :) Hi Rob,

They're incredibly passionate about what they do and they're comments on that forum about this review shows it. I love passion. I love when people speak their opinions. I LOVE it. Beats the hell out of sitting quietly and worrying about "what others think" This review of this great inexpensive product is my own and I stand by it. How many people just beginning their training (including bodyweight training) could make easy improvements by making one simple change like this product. Lots I believe. For someone benching 300 pounds? maybe not. or, maybe yes One poster at bullshido.net seems to think $40 is a lot of money and doesn't want to waste it on this product. Simple.. Don't then. It's really a perception of money and worth. I invest $100 a month for 6 months to fully test a new product. If it does what it claims to do and I DIDN"T invest the money to test it, it would be ME that would lose out. $40 is, in my opinion, a small investment to see if my chest gets better, if my other presses get better and if any sort of pain goes away. Awesome

At the end of the day, I figured I should make my own evaluation even if it meant shelling out 40 bucks. I'm happy to inform you that your review was spot on. This is the first time I've ever had muscle fatigue to this degree doing pushups (and a lot less reps to boot!). I can also feel it in my upper back, triceps, forearms and core! This is a terrific product. Thanks for your review! Hi Rob,

You cited the advertiser's website, not a study. I didn't see a study... for example... that shows how many people were injured by the former seal exercise regimen versus how many people were injured by this pushup product. Did the seals ever use this product in "the study"? The lack of details makes me too skeptical to drop $40 for an exercise I can do for free. Yeah, what study was done?
