Excellent post. Very informative. I usually just go with 3 knives: my paring knife, bread knife and my chefs knife. They get the job done!

First, fantastic post, secondly – you KNOW that I’m going to mention the word “whilst” didn’t you?

Darlene swears by her knives. When she got divorced, her husband at the time knew better than to bring up the knives as they were most assuredly hers.

I’ve learned to appreciate them whilst spending so much time with her.

I must say that I’m fascinated by your articles on cooking. Thanks bud

I usually go with knives that have the blade extend into the handle so its all one piece.
