My boss wants me to split my time doing my job and helping another department out. I didn't really want to do the job in this other department. I could feel the anger growing as he told me (I believe it was more about control or my not having control over the situation). But the thought crossed my mind to just let it be...that this might be a good change of pace. The anger in my just kinda faded away. I am glad I let go of the control. It felt good.
