I had a friend who would do bicep curls EVERY NIGHT and I tried to tell him that he needed to give his muscle time to recover/repair. He didn't believe me and kept working his biceps harder and harder - thinking he was not working hard enough hence the lack of results. What do you suggest is the best balance between cardio and weight training? I am currently doing the 8 sets of 8 for my weight training and do 20min HIIT on my elliptical 5 to 6 days a week. I train my legs once a week...when is the best time to give my legs a break from cardio after a leg weight lifting workout? Great article!
