From my experience of changing patterns and beliefs this past 3 weeks have been incredible! My favorite excuse was I couldn't buy healthy or organic food in my small town. That got shot down when my friends personal trainer from LA was here, he bought all the food uptown and created amazing healthy dishes! Next was the no gym, the same trainer showed me how to utilize the playground, with the TRX System and my own body, busted again!! I leave for Vegas in 11 days, I have a few more inches off my "pot belly", when I don't feel like exercising I sing Viva Las Vegas and look at my before pictures, then I am out the door being active. My excuse I have already created for when I am in Vegas is, how am I going to fit in any exercise? I am working an event for 1 week and playing the next, my friend and his trainer are coming the 2nd week so I have no excuses that week. Also I am in Hawaii for a week after Vegas on a Goddess Retreat, there will be yoga I am told and some walks, not my usual routine tho. What can you say to change my thoughts that I have already made up, to keep me focused in my training. I am starting week 4 tomorrow, I feel great, I look great, I am very happy with my food and it is also setting the context for my boys. I told them I was buying less and less of pop, white flour stuff and dairy products. BTW I am so happy dairy has no value to me, I dislike all dairy except some nice cheeses. Thank you for sharing all your insight Coop, I was actually reading all my Wizard notes tonight. Rick is at Wizard in NYC right now, along with his trainer, who cares deeply about working out everyday. To all our health which will bring wealth in every area of our lives. Love ya bud! Right On Coop!

As for the forum comment by Blush, no need to worry. It's always fantastic to see people trying to improve themselves. If there are lots of fit-looking people in the gym, great. They probably know what they're doing and are waiting for someone to ask them for help. Nice post Rob. As for the forum comment by Blush, no need to worry. I loved finding such terrific motivational information here. I continue with my goal of 10,000 steps a day. This week has been particularly challenging for me since I've fallen several times, hurt my artificial knees and shoulders and have lovely shades of purple fading to blue, green and yellow. I continue to walk through the pain. While I'm moving more slowly, I'm STILL moving. I've chosen to keep a food log and count calories and carbs to help me remember what it takes to stay 'in balance'. All things in moderation. I'm glad you've turned things around for yourself. Fantastic! Yay! Bravo! Hip, Hip Hooray for you!!! Since I last commented, I've continued to monitor my weight and I am now down to 339 pounds and grateful to be there. While that's still seven pounds higher than when we first met years ago, it's a far cry better than the 387 I was this past January when I reclaimed my goal of restoring health. Thanks Rob for sharing this EXCELLENT article.

Cheers Dave.
